Proposal
Against only the procedural filibuster
Certainly the procedural filibuster. If a senator wants to stand in front of everyone and speak as long as they physically can, that's fair. Just saying "I intend to filibuster" and changing the vote requirements is ridiculous.

Proposal
The filibuster should go back to require speaking on the floor instead of this I filibuster and go home nonsense.

Partial elimination
I don't think the filibuster should be eliminated, but the *procedural* filibuster should be eliminated. If a senator wants to get on the floor and hold up everything by rambling on for hours, they should absolutely be allowed to do so, but it should take *effort* to hold things up.
