Recommendation
Police abuse of power is a serious crime, and should be punished accordingly.
--anonymous
Obvious Observation
Officers with multiple abuses of power should not be allowed to serve.

Proposal
There should be an unarmed police division, responsible for handling things like noise complaints, etc, and a clear mandate to avoid engagement; combined with a force dedicated to de-escalation and transport. This separates out incentives for violence: The second group has no excuse for excess force

Proposal
There should be a federal database to track police officer abuse of power complaints.
--anonymous
Proposal
Police can get away with far too many things, and there needs to be meaningful checks to prevent illegal police conduct

Remedy proposal
You should be able to sue the police for acts of unnecessary violence
