Prison labor is a form of modern day slavery. Prisons do not need to pay prisoners for work they can be forced to do.

People don't seem to realize that slavery still exists, both internationally (as in the chocolate industry), and domestically (as a punishment in prison.) If America wants to be the land of the free, we should take the last steps to finally actually end the practice.
